What is the right of withdrawal?

The right of withdrawal allows consumers a 14-day period to change their mind in the case of remote purchases or purchases made outside the professional's establishment, whether:

online,

by phone,

during teleshopping,

in the context of mail order sales, etc.

This right therefore applies to contracts concluded remotely or outside the establishment between a professional and a consumer.

The seller must inform you of the existence or absence of this right before the conclusion of your order. If applicable, they must specify the conditions, deadline, and procedures for exercising this right.

Note

The right of withdrawal applies to discounted, second-hand, or clearance products, provided the purchase is made remotely or outside the store.

No right of withdrawal applies to purchases made at a fair or trade show, which are considered equivalent to the seller's or service provider's commercial establishment.
